Rubbery solid, liquids, and powders can be used as samples.
Since standard samples other than pure water (ethanol, methanol, acetone) can be used, relatively low dielectric constant and low loss materials can also be measured.
Probes with outer diameters of 1.2 mmφ, 2.2 mmφ, 3.6 mmφ, and 6.6 mmφ are available for a variety of measurements.
*1) Probe method is a comparative method. If high accuracy is required, please refer to below.
(Especially, at 100MHz or less, the phase information is easily hidden in the slightest movement of the cable etc. .)
20Hz-1MHz: Capacitance Method εr' [1.05-1000] accuracy ±3%, tanδ[0.0003-10] accuracy ±5%
10MHz; LC resonance method εr' [1.05-30] accuracy ±5%, tanδ[0.0002-0.05] accuracy ±10%
200MHz, 1GHz; Perturbation Method High accuracy : εr' [1-150] accuracy ±1%, tanδ[0.0001-0.05] accuracy ±3%
100GHz; Open Resonator Method εr' [1.05~30] accuracy ±3%, tanδ[0.0001~0.05] accuracy ±7%
