Electric wave absorption rate measurement Systems (in near-field / in far-field) Model No. XEA

Lens Antenna Method, Diagonal Incidence Type
Electric Wave Absorber, Return Loss Measurement System (2.6-26.5GHz/18-325GHz)
    JIS R1679 : 2007/IEC 62431 : 2008

    Model No. EAS03

    Features

EAS03 is an ideal solution for evaluation of electric wave absorbers and shield materials. Unlike coaxial or waveguide type, errors by air gap do not occur because the sample is not capsulated in the fixture.
Despite its compact dimensions, your sample can be measured with plane wave because the lenses are attached to the antennas, providing high measurement accuracy.
Samples can be smaller than conventional systems because they can be placed in the vicinity of the antennas.
It is also suitable for ITS/ETS applications, and supports vertical incidence when using a vector network analyzer.
Transportable type is available for heavy or immovable objects such as concrete wall or asphalt road.

    Reasons for high accuracy
    • Its plane wave is in phase with sample face.
    • Its parallel beam prevents interferences of unnecessary electric wave.
    • An anechoic chamber is not required.
    • Wide dynamic range, more than 50dB with gating and 40dB without.

    Standardization JIS R1679 : 2007
    IEC 62431 : 2008

    Specifications

    • * The higher the measurement frequency is, the smaller the samples can be.
      * By applying a gate beyond the lenses closer to the sample after calibration, it allows you to measure electromagnetic absorption rate above –50dB with a standard vector network analyzer.
