Log all changes made to a Fluke MET/TRACK® database
Change/Log is a plug-in for the MET/CAL® Plus database (version 6.x and higher) that keeps track of changes to the MET/TRACK® Inventory, Calibration, Location, Maintenance, Customer, and Standards tables. Developed by Fluke software partner On Time Support, Inc., Change/Log automatically records changes made by any application, including ISQL, MET/TRACK Manual Entry, Barcode Magician, and others. You’ll always know who made a change, when the change was made, and what was in the record before the change occurred.
Change/Log is an ideal solution for companies that are regulated by the Food and Drug Administration, (FDA), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), or any standard that requires documentation of changes to calibration asset records.
Change/Log utilizes a carefully constructed set of triggers and stored procedures. If an existing record is modified or changed, the changes are recorded in a new database table that includes information on the state of the record before the change was made, who performed the change, and how the record was changed.
The database changes can be reviewed with Crystal Reports, which is included with MET/CAL Plus. Change/Log includes reports to get you started, and you can easily customize them to meet your specific requirements.
When you install Change/Log, additional tables are created in the MET/CAL Plus database that are used for tracking changes. Changes are recorded when records are altered or deleted.
